The NHTSA announced two Toyota recalls last week, one for leaking rear brake hoses on the 2024-25 Tacoma and one for damaged second-row seat belts on the 2025 Camry Hybrid, 2025 Lexus NX, and 2024-25 Lexus RX. In addition, those who had Vantage Mobility convert their 2023-24 Siennas may not have enough welds on the trailing arm mounts.
Porsche recalled the 2023 911 for loose rear seat belt buckles, and the 2025 Porsche 911 for excessive glare from the low-beam headlights.
Hyundai recalled the 2025 Ioniq 5 for nonfunctional rear side airbags and reduced braking due to a software error.
Finally, 2205 Volvo EX90 headlight shutters may close unexpectedly, and GM recalled the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 because the chrome front grille deflector may come off.

David Zatz started what was to become the world’s biggest, most comprehensive Mopar site in 1994 as he pursued a career in organizational research and change. After a chemo-induced break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales.
David Zatz has around 30 years of experience in covering Chrysler/Mopar news and history, and most recently wrote Century of Chrysler, a 100-year retrospective on the Chrysler marque.
