The 2025 Ram 2500 was only just announced, and the Jeep Wagoneer S is reportedly still on its way to dealers, but already company employees and retirees are being offered attractive lease rates on both—and on the Charger Daytona Scat Pack BEV.
The lease rate on the two electrics is 1.0%, while the Ram 2500 is being leased at 1.2%. Employees and retirees can also get unspecified lease deals on the Ram 1500 RHO, though it’s in short supply; the Wrangler; and the PHEV versions of the Tonale and Hornet.
The numbers are percentages of the list price; if a car costs $70,000, the lease would be $700 per month—including, and this is a hefty plus, insurance and maintenance. Insurance is likely a bigger deal on the Charger Daytona than on the Wagoneer S.
The reasons for these lease deals vary, but it’s likely a combination of goosing early sales and delivering cars into an environment where any early flaws can be quickly picked up and fixed. The downside is that the company will end up auctioning off the vehicles to dealerships when the leases expire.
