Lots of recalls from lots of folks

There were many recalls on the NHTSA’s weekly roundup today; but first, one from the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-22 Grand Cherokee L. On these SUVs, the rearview camera image may not display—an industry wide problem, it seems, over the past few months.

New Jeep® Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4xe in Hydro BlueFord had missing turn signal failure warnings on the 2022-24 Maverick, as well as failing tail-lights; and badly secured seat belt anchor bolts on the 2020-21 Explorer/Lincoln Aviator.

Volkswagen was also well represented with backup camera problems on the Arteon, Tiguan, and Audi Q3; and early transmission failure on the 2025 Atlas including the Atlas Cross Sport. Rivian low-beam headlights may fail, while Toyota made 2021-25 Siennas with loose third-row seat bolts. GM may not have welded some Express/Savana vans’ door impact beams, and Jaguar’s old knee airbags may deploy “improperly.” 2024 electric Sprinters may stall, and Teslas may lose power steering.
