The head of Jeep North America, Bob Borderdorf, is now the head of Jeep globally as the North American and global positions are merged into one. That means Jeep’s European, Asian, and South American sales, operations, product, communications, and marketing groups will be run by a single global team.
Mike Koval, head of Mopar North America and former Ram chief, will take a place as senior vice president and head of sales operation for Jeep. Jeep, on a global level, had been run by Antonio Filosa, who is currently the regional chief operating officer of North and South America and global head of quality.
“Chief Software Officer” Yves Bonnefont left the company as a reorganization put software under Product Development and Technology, which is led by Ned Curic.
Corporate Affairs and Communications were combined and are now led by Clara Ingen-Housz, while Olivier Francois continues to lead marketing through a new global marketing office.
In Europe, Linda Jackson retired from leading Peugeot and has been replaced by Alain Favey; and Xavier Peugeot was appointed to lead DS while Anne Abboud was appointed to lead Stellantis Pro One, the commercial vehicles unit.
David Zatz started what was to become the world’s biggest, most comprehensive Mopar site in 1994 as he pursued a career in organizational research and change. After a chemo-induced break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales.
