In a brief press release this morning, Stellantis announced that both Jeep and Ram will run commercials during the broadcast of Super Bowl LIX. The details are incredibly brief, but we know that the Ram commercial will run at the break during the two-minute warning of the first half of the game. As for the Jeep commercial, the press release simply states that the commercial will run some time during the game.
Over the past decade or so, Stellantis/FCA brands have often run popular commercials during the Super Bowl, but the company took last year off. There is no indication as to what the Super Bowl commercials for Jeep and Ram will highlight – whether it will be about specific vehicles or some sort of broad branding message – or if the company will tap any big name celebrities, but in the past, Chrysler Group-based Super Bowl ads have been both popular and impactful.
Two of their most famous Super Bowl commercials were titled “It’s Halftime in America” featuring Clint Eastwood and “Imported from Detroit” featuring Eminem, both of which you can watch below.
