Jeep’s 2025 Gladiator Big Bear Edition, which starts at $46,090, will only be available in California, the state with the “bear flag” and the Big Bear four-season mountain lake recreation area.
Based on the Sport S, the Big Bear has special badging, Command-Trac, a two-speed transfer case, 17-inch black wheels with 32 inch mud tires, steel rock rails, a body color hardtop, removable roof and roof panels, fold-down windshield, black leather-trimmed heated front seats, heated steering wheel and mirrors, keyless entry, adaptive cruise, 12-inch touch screen, remote start, and garage door opener.
Jeep is making 5,000 of these available, with ordering currently open. Colors include ’41, black, white, gray, Hydro Blue, Firecracker Red, and Anvil. Stellantis has already donated $500 to the United Way of Greater Los Angeles Wildfire Response and held disaster relief drives at its various facilities to collect food and replacement living items. The United Way is a long-respected distributor of charitable funds which has traditionally been free from controversy.

David Zatz started what was to become the world’s biggest, most comprehensive Mopar site in 1994 as he pursued a career in organizational research and change. After a chemo-induced break, during which he wrote car books covering Vipers, minivans, and Jeeps, he returned with Patrick Rall to create StellPower.com for daily news, and to set up MoTales for mo’ tales.
David Zatz has around 30 years of experience in covering Chrysler/Mopar news and history, and most recently wrote Century of Chrysler, a 100-year retrospective on the Chrysler marque.
