A Closer Look at 2025 Jeep Gladiator Price Cuts

Earlier this week, we brought you the news of the “repositioned” pricing for the 2025 Jeep Gladiator pickup. Today, we take a closer look at how much the pricing changed for the various models, all of which are technically lower than the 2024 models.

2025 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk

First up, we have the 2025 Jeep Gladiator Sport, which starts at $39,995 with destination (all prices discussed here will include destination). The 2024 Jeep Gladiator Sport had a starting price of $39,790, leading some people to insist that the new model year costs more, but that isn’t exactly the case. The 2024 Gladiator Sport came standard with a 6-speed manual transmission (M6), but for 2025, the 8-speed automatic (A8) is standard. If you bought a 2024 Gladiator Sport with the automatic transmission and no other options, the price started at $42,290, so for 2025, buyers will be saving $2,295 compared to the same vehicle for the 2024 model year. It should also be noted that the Sport now comes standard with power windows and power door locks, so buyers will get even more for their money for the new model year.

2025 Jeep Gladiator

The situation for the 2025 Jeep Gladiator Sport S is similar, as with a starting price of $43,495, it is $205 more than the 2024 model, but that 2024 price included the 6-speed manual while the 2025 price comes with the standard 8-speed automatic. When you factor in the automatic transmission, the 2024 Gladiator Sport S started at $45,790, so as is the case with the Sport, the Sport S is $2,295 less for 2025.

Next up, we have the 2025 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk (above in grey), which starts at $42,790 with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 8-speed automatic that is now standard in all models. That same model for the 2024 model year started at $45,085 (also with the standard automatic), so this package is also $2,295 less for 2025.

2025 Jeep Gladiator Willys

The 2025 Jeep Gladiator Willys (above in red) starts at $47,095, down from $49,390 in 2024. This is another model that came standard with the 6-speed last year, but now comes with the A8 as standard equipment, but when comparing apples to apples, the Willys is $2,295 less for the new year.

Finally, we come to the 2025 Jeep Gladiator Mojave and Rubicon models, both of which start at $52,995. The Mojave has a base price of $54,890 for 2024, but that price includes the standard manual transmission, so the starting price with the A8 is $57,390 before any options are added. Compared to that number for 2024, the Gladiator Mojave starts $4,395 lower for the 2025 model year. The numbers are the same for the Rubicon (shown below with Jeep Performance Parts installed), as that model also came standard with the M6, but with the A8, it also had a starting price of $57,390 – so it has the same $4,395 price cut for the new model year.

2025 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

In short, if you were planning to buy any new Jeep Gladiator from the 2024 model year with the 8-speed automatic transmission, you are going to save at least $2,295 if you hold out for the exact same model from the 2025 model year. If you are shopping for a premium model, you are going to save even more in buying a 2025 Jeep Gladiator instead of a 2024 model.

“We’ve listened to our off-road truck community, reducing MSRPs across the lineup and adding standard features, making the appeal of Jeep Gladiator stronger than ever,” said Bob Broderdorf, senior vice president of Jeep North America. “Our standout pickup offers a unique combo of open-air driving, best-in-class towing capacity and unequaled off-road chops that’s now more accessible to a wider range of midsize truck intenders.”

In theory, this will hurt the sales of remaining 2024 model year vehicles, but I suspect that they will be discounted accordingly so that the newer models aren’t sitting side-by-side at dealerships with a lower price.
